Job Position:
IP/DATA Network Expert/Manager
Responsibilities:
· Responsible of managing an engineering team and reporting activities
· Responsible for planning and implementation of core parameters in the network elements, subsystems (understands KPI and the impact on the performance of the system).
· To perform the planning and implementation of IP/DATA Network elements and interfaces and their expansion activities. SW maintenance activities such as installation & test of technical/change, notes /change deliveries.
· Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of all packet core switching and routing, problems resolved or escalated to the correct group/team.
· Manage the relations with vendors and service providers.
· Involved in software upgrades and correction updates to switching elements.
· Define Back Office routines, schedules and reporting based on goals and priorities defined by Operations Management
· Manages and implements back-up and restore protocols, site diagrams, scope of work documents, and implementation methods
Desired Skills & Experience:
· At least 8 years of experience in telecommunications operators or providers. 3 or more year management experience.
· Experience in deployment and operation of ADSL / VDSL / SHDSL / GPON.
· Strong knowledge of L2/L3 switching, routing, TCP/IP, VPN.
· Experience in operation and design of ADSL and DATACOM and integration of systems from different vendors (multivendor deployments).
· Experience on Radius / NAT / DNS / DMZ.
· Cisco CCNA / CCNP certificates will be plus.
· Experience in IP/MPLS architecture. (IPV4 / IPV6)
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills
· Fluent in English for both speaking and writing.
· BA or BS degree, MBA highly desirable
