[FONT=&quot]including the Assistant Bar Manager, ensuring customer requirements are[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]To assume overall responsibility for the running of the Bar.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]>[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]To carry out Duty Management shifts as required.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]> [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]To maintain an open and accurate channel of communication with the entire[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Management Team.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]>[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]To implement, control & review all procedures relating to stock control, cash[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]handling, purchasing and stock & waste disposal as relevant to the bar dept.[/FONT]

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

[FONT=&quot]Quality of Service:[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]To satisfy all customer requirements by ensuring that the[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]service is constantly maintained at a consistently high standard[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]with particular focus on regular clientele in the Public Bar[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Productivity: To maintain and/or implement new efficient and effective work[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]methods and systems.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]To prepare and issue, according to bar practice, staff rotes[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]which will provide adequate cover in the most effective[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]manner.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]To carry out ordering of supplies as and when necessary.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]To carry out accurate cash-up procedures at end of night.[/FONT][FONT=&quot].[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]To be informed and aware of all relevant legislation regarding[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]service of liquor, the sale of tobacco, opening hours, etc.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]2[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]To communicate regularly and efficiently [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]To constantly strive to improve the standards of hygiene and[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]service throughout the bar.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Cost Control:[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]To practice economy and to minimize any incorrect usage of[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]any resources with particular attention given to achieving G.P[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Labor and minimizing variable expenses.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]>To regularly price check all beverage items bought for the[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]operation, to ensure that we are buying at the best prices[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]available.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]>To ensure all deliveries are checked in correctly and that all[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]relevant delivery dockets/ invoices are correct.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]>To ensure that all services delivered within the bar operation[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]are being charged for correctly by[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]To continually monitor three beverage stock items per week,[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]and communicate any shortages to the General.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Supervision[/FONT]:

[FONT=&quot]To hold regular departmental meetings.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]> To direct, control and organize the assistant bar manager[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]and all staff within your direct span of control and to ensure[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]that the required standards are achieved and maintained.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]> To advise staff of unavailability, [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]information relation to drinks, wines, etc., and any other[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]relevant information in order to ensure the efficient[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]operation of the Bar.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]> To set good example for the staff with regard to[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]punctuality, attendance, attitude and hygiene.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]> To liaise with the Human Resources Manager regarding[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]recruitment needs, and to carry out interviews as required.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]> To train new staff in methods and procedures.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]> To implement Grievance and Disciplinary procedures[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]where necessary, and report all serious breaches of[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]discipline to Operations Manager, General Manager.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]> To provide induction training for new staff, and complete[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Skills Checklists within their first month of employment.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]> To assess training needs and provide relevant training.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Hygiene:[/FONT][FONT=&quot]To practice high standards of personal hygiene at all times in[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]terms of grooming and uniform.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]To maintain the required standards of operational hygiene[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]according to the cleaning rots at all times.[/FONT]

REUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor degree
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Authoritative person
