SGS AUTOMOTIVE ALBANIA IS LOOKING TO HIRE A
HELP DESK TECHNICIAN
LOCATION: Head Office, Tirana

Responsibilities:

1. A Help Desk technician identifies the hardware and software needed to provide solutions to problems
2. Provide telephone, face-to-face and online support to staff members.
3. Must have a comprehensive understanding of computer hardware and software.
4. Must possess excellent communication skills in order to assist computer users.
5. Working with office software, being familiar with Internet
6. Working according to procedures for situation management and solving procedures
7. Windows in depth troubleshooting (error messages, improving performance, tweaking system)
8. Windows directory structure
9. Windows registry structure
10. File Systems (FAT and NTFS)
11. Configuring Windows Services
12. Firewall and Anti-Virus programs usage (installing, configuring and use)
13. Respond to and track requests and ensure issues are solved in a timely manner.
14. Install and configure new equipment as directed
15. Act as a central point of communication for the IT Department.
16. Stay informed regarding application changes, system changes, and/or scheduled downtimes and communicates them to IT management and the IT team.
17. Maintain documentation of issues, solutions and make documentation available via IT Knowledge Base.
18. Follow IT Department’s security procedures

Education and Training
Individuals interested in becoming a Help Desk technician require a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. Any experience or other qualifications are a plus.
