SGS Automotive Albania shpk is looking to hire a person as qualified as below:




DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Installing, managing and troubleshooting components of WAN and LAN in company branches and offices, Cisco & Linksys routers and switches.
  • Installing, supporting and maintaining new hardware and software infrastructure
  • Manages, operates overall networking and wireless infrastructure including the daily operations of network traffic, routing, infrastructure wiring, network connections, network security and telecommunications
  • Assists the Manger in the development and administration of the network services budget and provides fiscal analysis, oversees expenditure control and complies with audit requirements
  • Managing email, anti spam and virus protection; Establishes and maintains network security procedures
  • Responsible for documenting network policies and procedures and establishing and administering daily system maintenance procedures for the network controllers, routers, hubs, and for negotiating network policies in coordination with the team
  • Monitors maintenance contracts for telecommunications and network hardware and software and ensures compliance with contract and license agreements;
  • Works with the team to provide appropriate training regarding the network infrastructure, maintenance and essential procedures for new and continuing staff members;
  • Works with the team to develop 1 year, 3 year and 5 year action plans for upgrading, expanding, and/or re-designing current and proposed infrastructure, hardware and communications systems to meet the current and future networking requirements
  • Develops and maintains positive working relationships with other computing and technology departments and communicates relevant information about network policies, procedures and status which impacts the company
  • After hours and weekend work is expected as necessary
  • Setting up user accounts, permissions and passwords
  • Monitoring network usage
  • Ensuring the most cost-effective and efficient use of IT equipment
  • Suggesting and providing IT solutions to business and management problems
  • Ensuring that all IT equipment complies with industry standards
  • Undertaking routine preventative measures and implementing, maintaining and monitoring network security
  • Providing training and technical support for users with varying levels of IT knowledge and competence
  • Supervising other staff, or contractors
  • Working closely with other departments/organisations and collaborating with other IT staff
  • Planning and implementing future IT developments and undertaking project work
  • Monitoring the use of the web by employees.
  • Attend training sessions on the procedures and installation of desktop office services, such as the IT Services Staff Desktop Service.
  • Follow administrative procedures for enrolling new users on such services.
  • Install computers onto such services and configure the networking in a standard way.
  • Configure peripherals in a standard way as appropriate to the service.
  • Explain the service to new users.
  • Act as desk-side, first-line support for staff, visiting offices if required.
  • Diagnose hardware and software problems, fix basic problems & advise on solutions.
  • Investigate more complex problems and report all relevant details and information via the appropriate route. This could be to other IT staff in the department, IT Services, or to a computer hardware supplier.
  • Advise staff, on hardware and software issues.
  • Advise on the purchase of new hardware and appropriate Operating Systems.
  • Assist with delivery issues, escalating problems to your Information Technology Co-ordinator or IT Services as appropriate.
  • Receive messages on the IT-information mailing list and pass on and advise the department as appropriate.
  • Performs software and hardware field support when necessary in the company branches in the country
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Manger
  • Reports to the Manager of IT Operations
QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Advanced knowledge in managing TCP/IP, DHCP, VPN, WLAN, local and remote Cisco/Linksys routers and switches managing and setup
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and interact with a wide range of users.
  • At least 2 years of IT networking experience in a complex multi-platform environment.
  • Experience in installation, maintenance and systems administration of Microsoft Server 2008, 2003, XP.
  • Ability to remain current with other emerging technologies that are necessary to administer systems
  • Demonstrated office and project management skills
  • Ability to deal with sensitive information with confidentiality and tact.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Flexibility to manage and incorporate change.
EDUCATION & LANGUAGES


· University degree in electronic engineering or computer sciences.
· Other diploma, courses, certificates related to its work description will be considered.
· Advanced knowledge of English. Other languages knowledge will be considered.
· Driving license and ability of independent drive in company branches in Albania
