Our company in growth is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Sales Director to join us.

Summary of the position: The Sales Director should define and execute appropriate sales strategies; business development, marketing, technical, ad operations and sales support programs to maximize sales and profitability based on input from internal stakeholders, customers, market research and our own industry insight. on input from internal stakeholders, customers, market research and their own industry insight.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensures continuous increase of sales through implementation of an effective plan, staff development and management. Monitors sales, profits and the growth of all the areas.
  • Develops sales strategy and ensures its successful implementation, to meet the objectives of the Sales Department.
  • Prepares yearly budget plan of sales department and presents it to the CEO.
  • Analyses and controls the expenses of sales department ensuring compliance with the approved budget.
  • Continuously monitors the team members performance, performs field visits, establish and maintain very good relations with important customers.
  • Manage and implement the sales forecasting, planning and buyer driven sales and marketing processes, establishing high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency for the sales and marketing organization.
  • Support sales managers to negotiate and to close agreements with respective clients.
  • Report in writing on monthly basis to the CEO for the sales volume, potential sales growth and potential customers for growth.
  • Monitor and evaluates the performance of other competitors.
  • Participate in hiring process for his/her team members.
  • Manages the performance evaluation process of his/her team members ensuring a fair and objective evaluation.
  • Manages the "turnover" of employees in Sales Division and ensuring a satisfactory level according to company expectation.

Requirements:
  • MS/BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent is preferred ;
  • Ability to understand the impact of operational initiatives from a sales or marketing person's perspective;
  • Ability to prepare reports and use of appropriate mode of communication. Must be proficient at analyzing data, building reporting and making strategic recommendations based on data and trends;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines;
  • Proven success working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment;
  • Keen business sense, with the ability to find creative business-oriented solutions to problems;
  • Strong problem solving skills ;
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization ;
  • Effective communication, presentation, influencing, and negotiation skill;
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Italian language, both written and spoken ;
