We are looking for a Host/ Hostess to join our team and be the first point of contact for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
- Welcomes customers when they arrive at a restaurant, cafe, or other eating or drinking establishment
- Manage reservations
- Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
- Maintain a clean reception area
- Passes customer orders along to kitchen staff for preparation
- Introduces customers to the menu and announces daily or seasonal menu specials
- Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries
- Previous work experience as a Host/Hostess or waiter/ waitress
- Fluent in English
- Understanding of restaurant etiquette
- Experience in managing
- Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)
- Availability to work in shifts as needed
- A vibrant team and a friendly working atmosphere
- Ability to significantly influence the direction of our startup
- Four weeks of Holidays per year (plus Public Holidays)
