The Hygeia Hospital Tirana, a member of the HYGEIA GROUP based in Athens, Greece, is in process of hiring technical professionals to staff its new 160-bed General & Maternity hospital. The Hygeia Hospital Tirana is now seeking to hire a:


HR Payroll Specialist ​

Position responsibilities:

  • Processes bi-weekly payroll for exempt (salary) and non-exempt (hourly) employees.
    [*]Coordinates the distribution of payroll checks
    [*]Reviews payroll registers and prepares journal entries including uploads
    [*]Performs payroll account reconciliations
    [*]Maintains documentation for payroll processing, compliance and reporting
    [*]Provides information and reports which require payroll information
    [*]Reviews local tax reports
    [*]Sets up wage withholdings (garnishments, levies, support orders, etc.) and completes all correspondence according to Albanian regulations
    [*]Maintains time and attendance system
    [*]Processes all required paperwork according to established procedures
    [*]Proficient interpersonal skills and the ability to interact well with all employee levels
    [*]Requires sensitivity to employee’s needs and data
    [*]Establishes and maintains positive and productive work relationships with all staff
    [*]Follows the company human resource policies, all department policies and procedures including protecting confidential company; employee and customer information attending work punctually and regularly, and following good safety practices in all activities
    [*]Incorporates changes to processes into everyday work and contributes to environment of continuous improvement
The successful candidate will have:

Qualifications:

Education:

· University Degree (Economics or Business Administration)
  • Fluency in Albanian and English mandatory
  • Understanding (spoken and written) Greek considered an asset
  • Advanced Computer (PC) literacy mandatory
  • SAP knowledge considered an asset
  • Good comprehension of Albanian Tax regulations and Laws
Experience:
  • 5 - 7 years of relevant experience is required
