Senior VMware and Storage Administrator - IT Infrastructure Department
Job Description
• Installation of VMware products, vSphere, vCenter and vSphere Replication, Horizon
• Design and Implement vSphere Clusters, HA, DRS, vSwitches and Distributed Switches.
• Maintain, upgrade, and implement improvements to the VMware Infrastructure.
• Deploy Virtual Machines and use Clones, Snapshots and Templates.
• Replicate Virtual Machines to Disaster Recovery Site using vSphere Replication.
• Health Check for VMs and vSphere hosts.
• Installation of HPE Enclosures, ProLiant DL, ProLiant BL Servers.
• Maintain, upgrade and implement improvements to the HPE Enclosures and Servers.
• Install, configure and managing SAN devices and fiber switches.
• Install, configure and maintain HSV300 and 3PAR Storage hardware.
• Execute FC zoning for development and production storage volumes.
• Allocate SAN Storage to servers and provide system security and access.
• Develop and maintain records for entire storage as well as FC systems.
Skills & Qualifications
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with virtualization (vSphere, vCenter, vSphere Replication).
• Experience with clustering, disaster recovery, implementations, troubleshooting.
• Experience with HPE Server and Storage technologies.
• Experience with SAN/NAS implementation and support.
• Knowledge of backup technologies and disaster recovery methods.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and DNS.
• Knowledge of Linux and open Source.
• Enterprise networking principles.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision or work in a team-oriented project.
• Certifications are an asset.
