[/FONT] 1.1 Receives instructions form, and works under the supervision of the SAUDI ARAMCO Project Engineer.
1.2 Acts as project lead architect for commercial, light industrial, institutional, and residential facilities.
1 .3 Assists the SAUDI ARAMCO Project architect or Engineer as "Job Captain" to determine design intent and objectives, and to coordinate the development of design elements with each design discipline.
1.4 Inspects and determines existing condition, and verifies record drawings for accuracy. Develops base plans for use by each design discipline.
1.5 Lays out plan and detail drawings for development by draftsmen. Identifies standard details and prepares new details as required.
1.6 Assigns and supervises design draftsmen.
1.7 Develops perspectives, renderings and scale models of proposed designs when requested.
1.8 Develop finish and painting schedules.
1.9 Assists SAUDI ARAMCO Project Architect or Engineer to review designs for code compliance and revises design accordingly.
1.10 Assists SAUDI ARAMCO Project Architect or Engineer to monitor design cost estimates to assure that project design is within allocated budget.
1.11 Assists in preparation and reviews of technical and performance specifications.
1.12 Assists SAUDI ARAMCO Project Architect or Engineer as required to provide technical support during construction phase, including assistance to resolve site construction problems, evaluate "or equivalent" materials substitutions, and develop addendum and change orders.
2 Qualifications
2.1 Must possess a Bachelor Degree. In Architecture as a minimum requirement and shall have passed the National Licensure Examination.
2.2 Shall be fluent both in written and spoken English.
3 Experience
3.1 Must posses ten (10) years working experience, from the date of obtaining License/Qualifications related to preparing designs, presentations, working drawings and specification preparation. Additionally shall be able to do conceptual sketches both for design and construction.
3.2 Shall have two (2) year's experience as Project Design Head or Team Leader.
3.3 Experienced in the Uniform Building codes and other U.S. or European building codes.
