Job Title: Junior Information Security Officer
Department: Information Security Unit, Risk Department
Location: Head Office, Tirana

TIRANA BANK, one of the leading banks in Albania and member of Balfin Group, is currently seeking to hire a candidate who likes challenges and dynamism
to join Risk Management Department in the position of Junior Information Security Officer.

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Assist with the implementing and maintaining the information security management framework;
  • Process user account requests by verifying and documenting required authorization, and instruct users of their security responsibilities before granting access to the information system;
  • Open user accounts on IT systems for authorized users (setting up IDs, configuring access rights and roles, altering access rights and removing access rights);
  • Collaborate with other functions (such as IT Department, Physical Security and Human Resources) and with employees directly on security matters, resetting passwords, changing roles etc;
  • Checking and authorizing requests and keeping auditable records on access rights;
  • Periodically reviewing and maintaining access rights;
  • Monitors security related application alerts, notifications and reports to ensure the Bank environment remains secure and in compliance;
  • Assist with the planning, testing, tracking and remediation for identifies weaknesses;
  • Develops and implements an ongoing risk assessment program targeting information;
  • Continually stay informed of all emerging threat vectors;
  • Other security projects or activities as assigned.
Required Experience:
  • One to three years of information systems, computer science and/or IT-related experience.
Qualifications and skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT related fields. Master diploma is preferable;
  • Advanced English knowledge;
  • Experience with endpoint protection platforms;
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems;
  • Understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, DHCP, Routing, Firewalls;
  • Knowledge of security best practices guidelines ( ISO 27002, NIST etc);
  • Interest in Security, Network and Server Monitoring technologies;
  • Very good communication and presentation skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure independently and part of groups;
  • Able to operate in a fast-moving and demanding environment and deal ambiguous and often complex work situations;
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills;
