Functional Analyst

The Functional Lead considered for a position should be experienced in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process from requirements gathering to implementation. The functional lead works with team member from different tracks to ensure on-time completion of required software functionalities and that they meet client expectations. They must possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Job responsibilities:

An analyst needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements.
Performs functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships.
Identifies resources required for each task.
Analyze the existing systems and highlight areas of improvement.
Prepare technical user manuals, system configuration documents and other technical reports.

REQUIREMENTS


  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics
  • Ability to analyze and understand client’s requirements
  • Ability to work on complex projects with attention to meeting deadlines
  • Be responsible for full lifecycle of defects and change requests of the software
  • Work with the client to acquire business requirements for system enhancements
  • Support client testing and validation of defects and change requests to assure accuracy and quality
  • Ability to manage and organize small work groups
  • Good communication skills and teamwork
  • Good knowledge of Italian and English (written and spoken)
  • Problem Solving
  • Analytical and investigation skills
  • Ability to understand the bigger picture

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS


  • Understanding of the SDLC and agile software development processes
  • Business Logic
  • Knowledge of organizing and structuring Projects through management platforms like (Microsoft Project, EasyProject, etc)
