  • IT Sales Job Duties



  • Establishes sales goals and implements a plan to meet those goals.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market through networking and promotional activities.
  • Tracks progress toward goals and documents sales performance.
  • Handle the sale of software, hardware and IT services to clients.
  • Gains familiarity with the IT industry, services and products available and stays updated on upcoming and innovative trends.
  • Determines a client’s business requirements and answers technical questions the client might have.
  • Answers questions, highlights product benefits, and discusses pros and cons of various competing products or services.
  • Collaborate and communicate with technology manufacturers and suppliers in order to negotiate a commercial agreement to the benefit of both the customer and supplier.
  • Negotiates sales, package discounts, and long-term contracts with clients.
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction and makes recommendations, including IT equipment and service packages.
  • Provides technical advice after sales and gives suggestions for further collaboration.


  • IT Sales Skills and Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or related fields.
  • Experience with Sales in IT industry and Marketing at least 4 year.
  • Knowledge of relevant Products and Sales such as Cisco, VMware, Bitdefender, Office 365, Dell ect.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Being certified in Sales for relevant fields would be an advantage.
  • Experience with CRM software.
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts).
