JOB PROFILE

Dompé is a leading Italian biopharmaceutical company whose main focus is developing innovative treatment solutions for rare, often orphan, diseases. Based in Milan, Dompé has a major industrial and biotechnology research site in L’Aquila and a R&D unit in Naples. As part of its international development strategy, Dompé opened offices in USA, Spain, Germany and France. In 2015, a commercial office was opened in Tirana, where the Group markets its Primary Care product portfolio and where Dompé is looking for a Merchandiser. Merchandiser Job Purpose:
The construction of a merchandising network is based on a change of approach and model with respect to the use of a merchandising that works for multiple clients from the logic of "spot design" to the logic of Continuous presence in the pharmacy, offering services, categories and advice to the pharmacist:
Category management: The Merchandiser deals with the management of sales points in a specific geographical area and has the task of maximizing the value of the products in a sales point, by carefully rationalizing and managing the departments, the linear exhibition area and the stocks

Merchandiser Job Duties:


  • Category management activities
  • Periodic preparation of POP communication materials
  • Market analysis aimed at providing information on brand positioning, pricing strategies and sell-out
  • Drafting of periodic reports and monitoring of the progress of campaigns on data collected in the field.
  • Sell-out orientation
  • Selection of pharmacies on which to work, depending on potential and intimacy
  • Functional Deployment to Geographic Focal Point in Potential Business Areas and Pharmacies (Potential Intrusion / Intimacy)
  • Load the products on the shelves
  • Set up and fill product displays on the counter and / or on the ground
  • Set up the signs in the window
  • Assemble and set up baskets with price promotions
  • Creates store displays for certain items or lines to promote product offerings
  • Designs shelving arrangements and retail layouts in stores to maximize customer interest and increase sales
  • Set schedules and instructions for product rotation and new displays for store employees to implement
  • Maintains a consistent look and price levels to match customer expectations
  • Adjusts retail displays and layouts in response to customer activity and product sales
  • Uses sales data to influence future buying decisions and to create detailed reports for senior managers
