The overall goal of this position is to lead our accounting team, delegate responsibility, and assist in the execution of accounting operations and administrative functions so that the company can efficiently and effectively operate. This position reports directly to the CFO as well as Leadership Team Members. Key responsibilities of this role include leading standardization and improvement of processes, centralized accounting, analysis throughout the month, and adding value through insightful reporting, forecasting, and analysis.

Finance Manager Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for overseeing the financial and accounting performance of our company and reporting information directly to the Leadership Team
  • Manage accounting team and accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
  • Oversee centralized accounting entries and accruals, ensuring accuracy and management visibility.
  • Lead end-of-period closing activities, including review of journal entries, variance analysis, audit schedules and financial statements
  • Assist the Leadership team in establishing and enforcing internal policies and procedures for a more streamlined workflow
  • Develop and maintain financial reports including but not limited to: profit and loss, budget, forecast, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasting
  • Assist Leadership Team to support company improvements or objectives through analyses and reporting through problem-solving and offering solutions
  • Provide technical expertise as well as financial and strategic analyses
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
  • Manage, prioritize, and delegate tasks of existing accounting team
  • Evaluate monthly financial results with CFO noting business results and trends
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required
The successful Finance Manager must have/be:
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business Management/Accounting/Finance)
  • 3-5 years experience of budget management, financial analysis, forecasting, AP/AR, etc
  • A self-starter, excited by the opportunity to make a tangible impact, adept at communicating with multiple levels of an organization
  • Strong business acumen and ability to multitask internal and external requests
  • Passionate about learning and educating others
  • Dedicated work ethic, punctuality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and determined
  • Effective time management, prioritization, and follow through
  • Demonstrate strong personal attributes that include: teamwork, professionalism and the ability to see the big picture
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, quick learner on other accounting platforms
  • Comfortable with cloud-based software and paperless work environment.
