Field Operations and Maintenance Specialist
Purpose of position:
Supervision of preventive and corrective maintenance as per Albtelecom requirements and standards of local cable network, from MDF to customer premises (civil and cables works) FO local network (civil and cables works)
Main Duties
To follow activation process for New Activation, Move, Upsell, FO etc (physically part), fulfilling of standards, respect of limits, to evaluate specific cases etc.
Supervision of all networks update during the O&M activities.
To follow TTs handling process (for PSTN, xDSL, IPTV, Dark fiber connection and each other case we are offering service to our clients).
To follow from Contractor the optimal conditions for the operation and maintenance of the Copper & FO networks through regular supervision in coordination with Contractor.
To follow up and require the application of the high technical and quality requirements of the cable networks and attempting their continuous improvement. To follow up and assist the work which will be performed from Contractor.
To follow up and accomplish all the assigned tasks, regarding the contracts Albtelecom has with third parties for the maintenance and repair services for the cable (copper & local FO) networks or for the active components/systems connected to the cable (copper & local FO) networks. For all provided services, he/she has to verify/ /test their conformity with the relevant technical specifications of the respective contract
To follow up the implementation of the projects for the improvement, extension and the new cable (copper & local FO) networks , having a closed cooperation with the relevant Albtelecom structures (project and implementation teams).
To compile partial projects for changes, modifications or improvements of the cable networks, according to the respective changes/requests taking place in the sites.
Skills
Very good knowledge in GIS system and other professional programs like AutoCAD or MAPINFO;
MSAN/DSLAM, CAR5.1, SCE Platform(5.2), BRAS Operation & Maintenance Knowledge;
Problem solving skills and ability to meet deadlines
Very good command of English language
Professional Licence for Construction and Supervising of Cable Networks;
Available to work overtime when necessary
Experience
More than 3 years experience in local networks Maintenance & Administration;
Education
University Degree in Telecommunication, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering.
