Vodafone Foundation and CSR Sn. Manager

Lead and manage the development and implementation of policies and strategies in compliance with Mission of Vodafone Foundation and Corporate Social Responsibility of Vodafone Albania. Responsible for managing and coordinating the Vodafone Foundation office, and also building and enhancing innovative social responsibility and sustainable programs. He/she needs to oversee and integrate sustainable efforts and develop a strategic communication to further extend the company’s corporate reputation, encourage greater and more coordinated employee engagement and stakeholder involvement and provide public benefits in accordance with company mission and vision.
Manage and oversee the design, implementation and accomplishment of programs and projects, grants and corporate giving, employee volunteerism and engagement. Drive the company Foundation program and work closely with the board of trustees to ensure high profile programs and initiatives, enhancing on business goals and companies overall mission and vision.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

• Manages and coordinates the office of Vodafone Foundation and its programs.
• Prepares and updates periodic information and assessments for the Head of Vodafone foundation and Board of trustees in relation to the program and project implementation and other relevant issues related to the interest and focus of Vodafone Foundation.
• Manages and conducts the development of an annual review of Vodafone Foundation strategy, programs and project implementation and provides necessary proposals relevant for further decision making.
• Assesses and leads the development of innovative research initiatives and encourages their implementation.
• Manages the implementation and launching /publication of Call for Application, through preparation of forms/formats and eligibility procedures for the projects.
• Manages the elaboration of legal documentation for the implementation of projects and project monitoring in compliance with company rules and procedures and local /national legislation requirements.
• Follows up and prepares procedures for monitoring and evaluation of projects funded.
• Conducts the examination and assessment of the reports in light of Vodafone foundation strategy and programs.
• Contribute to the implementation of the compliance assessment and transparent procedures relevant for the company and for the projects implementation, in fully relation with other responsible offices/departments.
• Serves as a Secretariat for the preparation of the Board of Trustees Meetings, in change of event and budget calendar for the Board; set up Board meetings and create meeting agenda and relevant materials.
• Envision, create and/or further enhance a comprehensive Corporate Social Responsibility function within Vodafone Albania.
• Build a Social Corporate Responsibility profile, set long-term and measurable strategy including the development of innovative and own-able corporate leadership initiatives.
• Prepare and follow up action plan (of the CSR Strategy) compliant with the mission and vision of the Corporate CSR initiatives.
• Oversee and manage essential governance and corporate reporting controls internally and externally in compliance with legal, regularity, compliance and ethical guidelines, as well as transparency guidelines.
• Draft internal and external communication following up foundation and CSR work such as newsletter, annual reports, social media and information for the corporate website.
• Conduct an inventory of the existing corporate programming and align under a central function working in close partnership with other internal stakeholders maintain employee engagement, corporate culture and spirit.
• Develop new programs to build employee engagement, greater connection to the company’s mission, empowering and volunteerisms.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and processing of CSR budgets and contracts
• Project manage volunteer events and campaigns from start to finish including but not limited to planning, logistics, legalities, communication and fundraising.
• Evaluate corporate giving systems and support and propose systematic enhancements.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

• Excellent understanding of corporate responsibility themes and challenges.
• University Degree, preferably in Law, Social Science or other relevant fields. Master on Human Rights is an asset.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in international organizations.
• Strong experience in Project Management and fund raising. At least 5 years’ experience as a manager and strong coaching capabilities.
• Experience in communicating funding support, corporate volunteerism efforts, linkages between CSR and corporate reputation and working knowledge of the necessary measurements and reporting needs.
• Flexibility working under tight deadlines and ability to effectively plan, manage, help others prioritize and anticipate challenges.
• Proven ability in planning, organization and project management, able to prioritize multiple work streams and meet key deadlines.
• Excellent written communication skills, and experience of working with and interpreting complex data sets related to CR.
• String engagement and interpersonal skills with an ethical and transparent approach to working.
• Experience of developing strong professional relationships and working with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Sound judgment, business acumen, strategic agility and a clear understanding of how the function supports corporate business objectives.
