Job position: Export Specialist
Grade Level: 3T/9
Department: Logistics
Location: AlbChrome Tirana - Headquarters AlbChrome
Summary: This position manages the export duties ofthe organization and sees to it that the commodities meet the standards of allthe destination countries.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Arrange shipments and schedule carrier pick-ups.
2. Collect, negotiate and present for approval, transportation rates or/and services.
3. Prepare export documentation (e.g. commercial invoices, packing lists, OBL, Qualitycertificates,) and all other required documentation related to specificcontract or/as indicated by customer.
4. Notify customers about expected date of shipment and expected date of arrival of cargo.
5. Establishand maintain business relationships with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, carriers, Customs officers, and other functional areas within thecompany (business units) to ensure coordination and logistics of shipment.
6. Keepstrack of the lead time for all shipments and movement of goods for which thetransportation is organized by the company.
7. Providerate quotes, on request.
8. Provide real time updates about order status (re-scheduling) to all people involved in the sales and export process.
9. Answering phone calls, copying, printing, filing, scanning, and supporting other teams within the Sales and Logistics.
10. Follows Company policies and procedures.
11. Monthly Reports of export activities to Sales and Logistics team.
Qualifications and Skills:
Ø Education: University degree with logistics background.
Ø Work Experiences: Minimum 3 years ofrelevant experience.
Ø Other Skills
Ø Knowledge of customer order lifecycle, from sales order submission to customer receipt of goods.
Ø Proven ability to identify and resolve potential issues.
Ø Strong analytical skills, stress resistant
Ø Self-motivator,able to perform with minimum supervision;
Ø Goodc ommunicator, both oral and written;
Ø Fluent in English.
Ø Excellent in MS Office.
