AMD is looking for potential candidate to fulfill the position of:
Service Control Desk Agent
Technical Support

The position consists on supporting technical and business applications of our customers. While providing the highest level of customer service. Troubleshooting basic end user issues on various software applications, hardware, network and telecommunications systems and provide basic desktop support.

Roles and responsibilities:

1. You will be responsible for the coordination and communication of all affected parties in the support process
2. Dealing with hardware and application support queries and issues reported to the support desk
3. Maintain adequate knowledge of operating systems and application software used to provide a high level of support
4. The Service Desk Agent must ensure the support team members close out their work orders properly
5. Escalate issues and involve experts wherever required in order to resolve issues as quickly as possible

Qualifications and experience:

1. Fluent spoken and written English
2. General understanding of various network components
3. able to work in a 3-shift model.

Requirements optional
1. knowledge on German language
2. Linux administration experience.
