The ChiefAccountant provides leadership and coordination in administrative planning andaccounting efforts of the company. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Manages,controls and records all accounting, ensuring good performance of the overallaccounting function and reliable accounting data;2. Set-upsand manages project accounting for different projects and different activitylocations;3. Coordinatesthe preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analysesand informational reports; 4. Coordinateschanges and suggests improvements in automated accounting and managementinformation systems of the company; 5. Servesas a certifying specialist for all company accounts and obligatingdocuments; 6. Ensurescompliance with IFRS, Tax and Group reporting requirements; 7. Ensuresrecords systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditingstandards; 8. Developsand implements accounting and internal control procedures;9. Assistsin and act as liaison for external audit processes and tax audits;10.Followsup on all tax issues, reporting and liaising with legal department on taxrelated cases;11.Monitorsthe fixed asset register; 12.Assiststhe CFO in matters related to budgeting;13.Supervisesand leads the accounting staff; 14.Periodicallytravels to AlbChrome business units (Bulqiza, Burrel, Elbasan) to manageaccounting issues;15.Otherduties as assigned; Qualifications and Skills: Ø Education: Economic University Degree – preferred in accounting, aMaster’s degree (e.g. MBA) would be highly desirable; Ø Work Experiences: Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.Knowledge of Navision and Alpha accounting software. Strong business acumen of accounting. Minimum 2 years of people management / functional leadershipresponsibility; Ø Other SkillsLanguage skills: Proficient in Albanian and very good command of the English language(written and spoken).
