Tasks

[FONT="]-Following up on pending requests made by the business units or end users.
-Administering all Network Nodes of Bank, this includes routers, switches, Firewalls and IPSs.
-Responsible for the Network Performance Monitoring Software, ensuring that the alerts on availability and faults are correctly send via email and sms to proper teams.
-Responsible for Core Network, this includes high availability network devices in the primary and disaster Data Centres.
-Responsible for network design, this includes the high availability core network, perimeter and access network design, with redundancy and security principles.
-Maintaining Network address assignment, assignment of routing protocols and routing table configuration as well as configuration of authentication, authorization and accounting for the network nodes.
-Integrate LAN/WAN and/or other information systems.
-Responsible for Internet and VPN configuration and access.
-Following up on hardware/network malfunctions with the suppliers.
-Provide troubleshooting and maintenance in regard to network issues.
-Participate in development and maintenance of policies, procedures and documentation for use of network facilities and then ensures implementation.
-Develop and implement network management and related tools.
-Monitors network utilization and gathers trend data for reporting as well as capacity planning purposes.
-Recommend investments on new networking technologies / solutions to improve existing infrastructure.
-Effectively communicates relevant practice information to superiors.
-Performs other duties given by the superiors.

[FONT="]Requirements
-Has graduated from an IT discipline of a university.
-Has at least 6 years’ experience in Network Administration.
-Has proper knowledge of English Language to follow the documentation, prepare reports and presentations.
-Has proven knowledge in Network Administration, Certifications are an asset.
-Be able to work overtime as the job requires so.
-Be honest, trustworthy and reliable.
