The Position:
Job Title: Collection Officer
Location: Tirana, Albania
Reporting Line: Head of Collections
Main Functions:
· Ensure collection procedures and processes are in place and followed;
· Implements correctly the policies and procedures established by the company and that are part of his/her tasks and responsibilities
· Identifies the reasons for delinquency, if the client has a business or other family incomes generated from work, pension, and immigration
· Investigates and obtains information about clients in debt
· Performs proposals for restructuring, rescheduling of loan
· Performs any other duty related to his/her work as required by the Head of Collection
Education/Experience:
· Graduate degree in economics, finance, accounting or management service
· At least 2 years of experience on collection sphere within banking, microfinance, collection agencies
· Area of professional expertise: Soft Collection, Hard Collection, Legal Collection
· Experience with regulations and legislation for debt collections regarding Banks and MFI
· Experience in implementing of collection policies and procedures, including process evaluation and documentation
Skills, Knowledge :
· Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and active listening)
· Excellent target oriented profile
· Developed negotiation skills
· Very good skills to perform income analysis in order to assess the client's capacity to repay
· Critical thinking ability
· Decision making ability
· Flexible and pragmatic approach to problem-solving
· Proficiency in English language
· Ability to work in a national environment
