Cable project and implementation Team Specialist
Purpose of position
Supervising the cable network (with FO and copper) during implementationprocess. Leading implementation process in the field, coordinating with theauthorities which gave the work permit, checking in real time the progress ofworks, prepare respective progress report according to the daily check done byhim/her. Respecting of technical specification and standards approved byAlbtelecom and other authorities as per law’s conditions, guaranty the highest qualityof works.
Duties
- Participation in preparation of necessary documents for applyingfor works permit and possible meetings with respective authorities.
- Leading of cable network implementation process, for therespective project who will be in charge.
- Coordinating with the authorities which have given the workspermit for the time schedule and respective conditions as per permit.
- Respecting of the technical specifications and standards for thecable networks approved by Albtelecom, in accordance with the rules andrecommendations of AKEP and other related government institutes and also inline with international recommends for telecommunication networks.
- Realizing of the project as it is designed by project teamstaff. Because of specific conditions in terrain or because of authoritieswhich provided work permit the cable network implementation specialist hasright to change the project maximum 10% of its.
- Responsible for following and report the progress of works dailyand preparation of the monthly progress reports as per daily works completed.
- Responsible to report in real time any possible problem occurredin the field to his superior and has right to stop the works if contractor isnot performing as per standards and technical specifications defined in thecontract.
- Is part of acceptance procedures including preliminary and finalones, as the member of the team which should be controlled.
- Confirm the monthly progress reports to the respectivedepartments of Financial Group, in order to be paid, according to the documentsneeded as per contractual conditions.
- Contribute for solving problems occurred during implementation,especially the problems which might be raised by the authorities who providedthe works permit.
- Cooperation with other technical group for solving problemsoccurred during implementation.
Skills
- Logical thinking with creative problem-solving ability
- Knowledge of Office Package, AUTOCAD, MAPINFO, GIS and otherrelated engineering programs.
- Knowledge of telecommunication networks with copper and FOcables.
- Knowledge of civil works
- Knowledge of the laws, especially the ones connected with constructionof telecommunication networks and law for construction in general.
- Very good communication with other teams inside the company andalso with Contractors and authorities which provide the works permits.
- Fast adaption to position to work,energetic, flexible and with full wish tolearn and progress
- Very good knowledge of English
- Great attention to detail
Experience
- Minimum 3 years in similar field, 1 of them in telecommunicationsector.
- Master degree in CivilEngineer / Electronic Engineer / Telecommunication or related fields
