The IPA 2013 project: “Technical assistance for institution building of the Ministry of Environment in enforcing environmental and climate Acquis”, is looking for an Air Quality Management Expert
Location: Tirana, Albania
Duration: 80 days during a period of 12 calendar months
Type of contract: Part Time, Consultancy Services
Deadline for applications: 12[SUP]th[/SUP] February 2016
Preferred starting date: March 2016
The expert will be involved in the preparation of the national air quality management plan, collection of data on air and air pollution, discussions with the various actors (beneficiary, relevant central and local governmental institutions, NEA, SEI, etc.), establishment of an air emission inventory and training activities.
General expertise required:
Qualifications:
University degree in Chemistry, Physic, Environmental Engineering or a similar fields, experience with air quality management, air monitoring, environmental policy and procedures, experience in management plans preparation and/or data collection and processing.
Relevant tasks:
1. Prepare and maintain a database with the basic data on air and air monitoring (emission and air quality)
2. Assist in the collection of material on national environmental related strategies and environmental action plans, relevant laws, guidelines etc.
3. Assist in the preparation of air management plan.
4. Organize and participate in meetings with different actors.
