Chemonics International Inc, a leading international consulting firm based in Washington, D.C. seeks experienced Albanian and ex-pat professionals for anticipated long and short term assignments on an upcoming 2-year Millennium Challenge Corporation-funded anti-corruption project focusing on tax administration, public procurement and business registration in Albania.

Competitive candidates will have expertise in one or more of the following areas:
  • Business registration streamlining
  • Tax administration and fiscal reform
  • Public procurement
  • Audit and inspection
  • Risk analysis
  • Business process reengineering
  • IT solutions
  • Regulatory reform and legislative drafting
  • Civil society and advocacy
  • Public education
  • Training and organizational development
Qualifications for most positions will require the following:
  • University degree required; Masters degree in related field preferred
  • At least eight years professional experience applying expertise, especially in reform efforts in Albania
  • Experience working with the Albanian government and private sector
  • Strong English and Albanian language skills preferred
  • Additional requirements appropriate to the specific areas of expertise listed above.
