Chief Accountant
Our client, an international company, is looking for a Chief Accountant in Korce.
Job details:
- To perform all necessary accounting of the company as per the Albania Law, as well as reporting (weekly cash flows and EBS of the mother company);
- Control and reconciliation of banks as well as all payments and necessary bureaucracy;
- Control of expenses and preparation of annual budget.
The right candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing the daily financial/accounting operation,
- Preparing reporting on P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
- Handling customs and import/export issues
- Ensuring that statutory accounts and tax accounts are kept according to the respective rules
Requirements:
The right candidate should have the following abilities:
- Degree in Accounting Finance;
- Accounting Certification would be an asset;
- Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written; knowledge of another language would be considered an asset;
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position;
- Good knowledge of the local accounting, tax and other relevant regulations;
- Experience with MS Office and accounting software packages is required;
- Excellent ability to interpret and report financial information;
- Analytical thinking, excellent problem solving skills, a team player.
