Junior Achievement Albania is looking for an Executive Director for the organization in Tirana, Albania. The individual has a strong interest in economics/enterprise education, working with young people, and business in general; well-developed communication skills; and familiarity with fundraising and/or managing not-for-profit projects or organization. The candidate should be ready to take on new challenges and work in fast-moving, multifaceted environment.

Job Description:
- Develop business plan for JA Albania
- Fundraising and make the organization sustainable.
- Research and contact with businesses and other agencies/institutions in Albania which would support JA programming in diverse ways (partner networks; board members; promoters; funders)
- Meet growth targets as established with the Board, and with JA-YE Europe.
- Full budgetary and financial reporting responsibility including:
- Acquisition of long-term funding for operations and national programming
- Development of sources of statutory and corporate donor funding in support of JA Albania programs.
- Setting up of monitoring and evaluation systems to provide accurate quantitative and qualitative measures of JA-YE programs in Albania.
- In addition to programs, the Executive Director shall organize local trainings, competitions, conferences and the like in which young people can participate.
- Regular communication with JA-YE Europe; attendance at JA-YE Europe meetings and student events
- Post-secondary level of education
- Project management experience
- Fluency in Albanian and English
- Well-developed organizational and budgeting skills
- Well-developed selling, influencing, and presentation skills
- PC skills (Office applications & Internet)
- Well-developed interpersonal skills (team working, confident, self-aware)
- Looking for a strong learning experience
- Able to take initiative and also able to know when to ask for help
- Able to prioritize and work without a lot of guidance
- Willingness to travel within Albania and sometimes in Europe
