Protik is a local NFP organization created as a joint contribution of the United States Agency for International Development USAID, the Albanian American Development Foundation, the Government of Albania, Microsoft, Cisco and Albtelecom. The mission of Protik is to catalyze the development of Albania’s ICT industry by fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, stimulating demand for ICT, and promoting partnerships and networking.
Protik Center is seeking qualified applicants for the following position:
Marketing and Business Development Officer (MBDO) The MBDO will work closely with Protik’s Executive Director to develop a strategy for self-sustainability. Mechanisms to achieve self-sustainability will involve aggressively identifying potential donors, writing grant proposals as well as help create and commercialize products and services that can generate revenue for Protik. The MBDO will closely collaborate with Protik’s team and will help identify potential projects as well as other opportunities for revenue generation The MBDO will be responsible with donor reporting and communication, with overseeing the implementation of grants as well as efficiency of various other revenue channels created and identified. The BDO may also assume monitoring and evaluation role for Protik organization. The MBDO reports to Protik’s CEO.
Successful candidates will have a university degree in management or a technical subject, at least five years of experience in working with the business development in the non for profit sector, in areas such as grant development and writing, strategy development, monitoring and evaluation and/or five years of experience in the ICT industry. Successful candidates should have a background in ICT and/or very good knowledge of ICT
