Albchrome SHPK is looking for a Cost Accounting Manager who will work full-time at the Headquarters of the Company based in Tirana, Albania.
Summary
Under the direct supervisionof the Head of Finance Department, the Cost Accounts Manager is in charge of cost control methods and procedures of the company.This requires analyzing raw products used, analyzing all variable costs,analyzing overhead costs, analyzing labour and any other types of costsinvolved with ore and FeCr production.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ø Responsiblefor compiling product cost statements; Frequently performs a break-evenanalysis to determine the most efficient quantity production of ore/FeCr at themost efficient cost;
Ø Responsiblefor evaluating variable and overhead costs;
Ø Responsiblefor creating a budget and sticking to it, which requires evaluating all costsincurred through production, finding ways to reduce costs, and effectivelyproducing a quality project at the best cost possible;
Ø Evaluates the adequacy of costaccounting systems, policies and procedures, and evaluates other accounting andproduction systems, policies and procedures in reference to costaccounting.
Ø Reviews results of all costrelated studies, reports, etc., and makes presentations to management.
Ø Directs the allocation ofoverhead costs.
Ø Coordinates the forecasting ofinventory levels.
Ø Directs annual physicalinventories.
Ø Initiates and/or analyzes costaccounting system requests, identifies alternatives, makes recommendations andimplements approved requests.
Ø Interprets and reports rate changeimpact on inventories.
Ø Evaluates the need for specialcost studies and analysis; directs the preparation of the study; and interprets,evaluates and presents the results. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
Ø Economic University Degree – preferred inaccounting, a Master’s degree (e.g. MBA) would be highly desirable;
Ø Language skills: Proficient in Albanian and very good commandof the English language (written and spoken). Knowledge of any other languagewould be an asset;
Ø Minimum 5 years of accounting experience;
Ø Strong business acumen of accounting. Minimum 2 years of people management /functional leadership responsibility;
Ø Sound experience in project management andproject accounting;
Ø Strong technical skills in accounting,management reporting and performance management;
Ø Strong analytical skills, stress resistant;
Ø Self motivator, capable of leading andmotivating people.
Ø Good communicator, both oral and written;
