Datacom Engineer

Job Description
Work as Datacom Engineer include, inter alia, that:
1. Be responsible for the products and solutions as well as for "After sales" technical support in the field of Datacom networks.
2. Supporting our customers from any technical perspective, and enhance our relationship in the primary key accounts.
3. You will be responsible for all after sales support of Datacom in the Nordic market.
Responsibility
Responsibilities for this service are among others:
1. Project Implementation and technical control of its suppliers or partners.
2. Level 1 / Level 2 technical support service to the customers independently or together with a support section.
3. Provide training for customers, subcontractors or service partners. Sales for testing, bidding or holding workshops.
4. Provide High level and Low level solution for all kinds of Datacom projects and customer network.
5. Customer communication with technical issue and network solution.
6. Do the implementation of project like test, integration configure and Cutover.
Qualifications
Qualifications that we consider essential for this role are:
Degree in telecommunications, that you are electrical engineer or other relevant training.
Have more than 2 year experience in Routers and Switches operation.
Capability of following technologies: OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, L3VPN, L2VPN, NAT, MSTP.
Experience of Network design and solution for large networks is an advantage.
No problem with occasionally night work like SWAP and cutover.
Ability to implement and supervise installation, commission and testing independently (including survey and acceptance).
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Driving license is an advantage when a customer visits are common.
The candidate with the appropriate after-sales service and technical service experience from established European Telecom operators are preferred.
Fluency in English languages, Swedish is preferred
Organization
As Datacom Engineer you will work within the Nordic and Baltic organization and report to the project manager. The Nordic and Baltic organization is managed and controlled from Kista, Sweden. Location for this role, Kista, Sweden, but travel can be part of the service.
