Position: “IP Engineer”
Necessary Qualifications
• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent degree
• Excellent knowledge of English language
Required Skills and Experience:
• 4 years of experience as Network Engineer
• Analytical and detail oriented
• Proven knowledge of Cisco routers, switches
• Knowledge on L2 standards
• Knowledge on L3 IP transit protocol and policing
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Cisco CCNA preferred.
Tasks and Responsibilities
o Responsible for the technical review / approval of network level changes and implementation of network changes
o Responsible for IP transit services in collaboration with IP transit Providers
o Installing, supporting and maintaining new/existing hardware
o Work with other technical groups to help delivery of business critical projects
o Provide project implementation support during business and occasionally off business hours
o Undertaking routine preventative measures and implementing, maintaining and monitoring network
o Create and update network infrastructure configuration/documentation
o Provide input to the manager of Provisioning teams to define / refine group practices to meet team's objectives
