IN & Payment Application Management Engineer
Job purpose: To satisfy local and global marketing requirements in the area of Online Charging Services.To drive Online Charging services evolution inside the Southern region, through harmonization & hosting projects, in cooperation with other opcos within the region. To drive the related infrastructure to cope with business and technology evolution. To grant the certification process to ensure the appropriate quality in the delivery phase, delivering high quality products and solutions. To ensure, on the related platforms and technologies, the best support and the design, specifications and delivery of technical solutions to manage messaging services of other OpCos in the Region centralization projects (i.e. OCS), to achieve sinergies and better efficiency inside the Region. To represent Southern Region in Global projects and technological evolution, driving the Global roadmaps according to Regional needs.
Main job accountabilities
· IN OCS or any real time rating capabilities dedicated to prepaid and/or postpaid services
· IN architecture (INAP, CAMEL)
· Diameter router nodes and Diameter technologies.
· Ancillary service related to Real Time rating: Homezone, Free Divert To VM
· Define, design and implement solution to cope with mktg requirements or technology evolution on the related technical areas. Coordinate and manage vendor activities during the project deployment, in order to guarantee time to market and compliancy to user requirments.
· Design and implement the configuration data for implementing the Commercial Offer evolution.
· Strongly collaborate with the Region OpCos to delivery hosting solutions to cope with new requirements and technology evolution.
· Collaborate with Group VTN to design solutions in line with Regional technology evolution and market needs.
· Certify new sw releases and new data configuration according to marketing user requirements and technology specifications. Perform E2E testing activities prior to live deployment. Coordinate, together with the relevant NSM group, FOA definition and execution.
· Defines new tools to automate testing activities for Online Charging Services
· Interface with the relevant Operation groups to analyze and correct bugs discovered in field, managing the relationship with the vendor to produce the correction and providing adequate priority to bug fixing activities
· For the related technology support the Global function in the selection of the strategic vendor.
· For the related technology, select the vendor from the global vendor list to deploy new solutions. Selects, when needed, new vendors needed for local activities and services.
· Interact with vendors throughout the selection process and project implementation, fault management and new releases deployment.
- Quality delivery kpis (bugs found after live deployment)
- Minimize any charging bug affecting customers (zero defect approach)
- Time-to-market according to committed dates
Profile Requirements
· University degree in Computer Science or equivalent (mandatory);
· Knowledge of mobile NW architectures and protocols;
· Knowledge of IT protocols and dB
· Ability to work in an international environment
· Ability to bridge Commercial and Technology needs
· Delivery oriented approach
· Ability to understand marketing needs and reference market evolution
· Ability to work in international environment and support different Market across the Southern region
· Technical skills, in particular on IN protocols, Computer Science and Core Nw (GSM, UMTS services)
· Negotiation skill, win-win attitude
· Vendor management
· Strong push to result achievements and budget optimization
· Planning activities amongst an high number of different teams
