The USAID-funded Enabling Equitable Health Reforms (EEHR) project, which started in 2010, is an initiative to increase access to essential health services for the poor by supporting the implementation of health care reforms in Albania. EEHR provides technical assistance and resources to assist key stakeholders in the application of reforms at the national level and helps develop and field-test approaches and tools that support implementation of reforms in selected hospitals. The project encourages the involvement of all key stakeholders in policymaking and planning, and supports an evidence-based policymaking process. EEHR is implemented by Abt Associates.

Job Responsibilities

• Drives office vehicles, in a safe and careful manner, for the transport of authorized personnel and delivery and collection of mail, documents and other items.
• Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle, checks fuel, oil, water, battery, brakes, tires, front/rear lights, etc, performs minor repairs and arranges for other repairs and ensures that the vehicle is kept clean and mission ready.
• Transports authorized personnel and visiting consultants to/from airport.
• Drives office vehicles to regional sites as needed.
• Provide limited support to office procurements and logistics as needed.

Minimum Qualifications: The position requires safe driving record and excellent references. Experience working as a driver for a donor project preferred.
