Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor (Seasonal)​

Contract Type: Seasonal
Period: May – September

Job Summary​

We are seeking a customer-oriented Restaurant Supervisor (Seasonal) to support the daily operations of our restaurant during the peak season from May to September. The Restaurant Supervisor will be responsible for supervising restaurant staff, ensuring smooth service operations, maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety, and delivering an exceptional dining experience for all guests.

Restaurant Supervisor Responsibilities​

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient and smooth service.
  • Assist in screening, interviewing, hiring, and training seasonal restaurant staff.
  • Prepare and manage staff work schedules in line with operational needs.
  • Monitor staff performance and take appropriate corrective or disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant and kitchen areas to ensure hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards are consistently met.
  • Oversee food preparation, presentation, and storage in compliance with food health and safety regulations.
  • Check in with guests during service to ensure satisfaction with food quality and service levels.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and ensure prompt resolution.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock of food, beverages, and operational supplies.
  • Support cost control by identifying opportunities to reduce waste and operational expenses.
  • Monitor daily cash handling procedures and support the settlement of outstanding bills when required.
  • Review guest feedback and customer surveys to identify areas for service improvement.

Restaurant Supervisor Requirements​

  • High school diploma or GED; a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or Business Administration is an advantage.
  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
  • Experience working in seasonal or high-volume restaurant operations is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment during peak periods.
  • Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding customer service orientation.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays during the season.
