Kastrati Group, one of the largest and most well-known business groups in Albania and the region, founded in 1991, is expanding its operations and is seeking to hire a Trading Manager for its offices. The company operates across various sectors, including energy, oil, construction, services, and trade, and has a successful track record as a leader in its industry.
Main Duties
Monitor daily energy market prices on the ALPEX exchange and regional markets.
Carry out daily energy trading operations in the Day-Ahead and Intraday markets.
Optimize the trading portfolio to maximize profit and minimize risk.
Place orders on the ALPEX platform in accordance with approved strategies.
Coordinate the nominations process with OST and the balancing group.
Monitor the actual production of photovoltaic parks and adjust the trading strategy accordingly.
Analyze deviations and contribute to improving daily forecasts.
Prepare daily and monthly reports on trading performance and average prices.
Implement risk management policies and ensure compliance with ERE, OST, and ALPEX regulations.
Support the development of short-term and long-term trading strategies.
Work with trading systems (market platforms, SCADA, Excel models, EMS).
Develop forecasting models for prices and production.
Qualifications
University degree in Economics, Energy Engineering, Finance, or related fields.
Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience in electricity trading.
Strong knowledge of the energy market operations in Albania and the region.
Excellent analytical skills and advanced use of Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or other analytical tools.
Excellent knowledge of English.
