About the Role: As a Team Leader overseeing Monitoring Operations, you will spearhead our Event Management service, which focuses on the proactive monitoring of our IT infrastructure. Operating 24/7, 365 days a year, you will lead a team responsible for ensuring seamless operations aligned with standardized procedures compliant with ITIL standards. Your role will be instrumental in maintaining a robust monitoring ecosystem, integrating seamlessly with Network Operations Center (NOC) and Security Operations Center (SOC) functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Monitoring Operators in proactive and reactive monitoring of IT infrastructure.
  • Assess the criticality and impact on client services, ensuring swift resolution.
  • Oversee adherence to predefined operational workflows and escalation management processes.
  • Foster integration with NOC and SOC functions to ensure seamless interoperability.
  • Manage technological integrations with monitoring, ticketing, asset management, and repository tools.
  • Uphold ITIL standards and best practices across all operational activities.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent education.
  • Proficiency in BMC TrueSight or similar monitoring tools.
  • Experience with trouble ticketing systems such as Service Now, Remedy ITSM, Jira, etc.
  • Familiarity with ITIL standards and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken Italian.
