Jobposition: Logistics Specialist
Department: Logistics

Summary: Under thesupervision of the Head of the Logistics Department. the incumbentis responsible the overall supply chain management within AlbChrome, organizeand monitor the storage and distribution of goods. The goal is to manage theentire order cycle so as to enhance business development and ensuresustainability and customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Strategically plan andmanage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services;
2. Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency;
3. Create and adhere to policiesor procedures within the logistics activities;
4. Liaise and negotiate withsuppliers, customers, retailers and consumers;
5. Arrange warehouse, planroutes and process shipments;
6. Meet cost, productivity,accuracy and timeliness targets;
7. Plan or implement material flow management systems to meetproduction requirements;
8. Train Logistics department and Business Units personnel in rolesor responsibilities regarding global logistics strategies;
9. Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer servicelogs, and other records;
10. Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems,imports or exports, or customer issues;
11. Negotiate transportation rates or services;
12. Develop risk management programs to ensure continuity of supplyin emergency scenarios;
13. Supports in directing or coordinate comprehensive logistical orreverse logistical functions for product life cycles, including acquisition,distribution, internal allocation, delivery, reuse, or final disposal of resources;
14. Review global, national, or regional transportation or logisticsreports for ways to improve efficiency or minimize the environmental impact oflogistics activities;
15. Supports in directing inbound or outbound logistics operations,such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, or logisticsquality management;
Qualifications and Skills:-
Education: Completed University Education inMarketing/Business Administration; Formal education in Logistics and/or Sales or other related field desirable;- Work Experiences:
Minimum 3 years of logistics managingexperience;
Experience working with numbers andfinancials and dynamic working environment is highly desirable;
· Fluent in written and spoken English
