We are currently looking to recruit an experienced, innovative and career focused Senior Tax Accountant to oversee our firms Tax department on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will have specific responsibility for the following:
- Manage the provision, production and review of tax services to a challenging and varied client portfolio of companies including international clients;
- Researching and resolving technical queries from clients;
- Building, maintaining and enhancing strong relationships with clients and providing a high standard of client service;
- Advising on Albanian domestic and international tax matters;
- Coordinating and working with international associate firms on cross-border projects and business development initiatives;
- Acting as a point of contact to the regional tax directory issues;
- Contributing to the development of technical knowledge of the office;
- Provide mentoring to other team members to ensure standards are maintained throughout the entire engagement process;
- Identifying client needs and new business opportunities within client organizations;
- Maintain a high quality of work and consistently adhere to relevant professional standards.
Experience Required
● Qualified accountant or industry person “qualified by experience”.
● Minimum 3- 5 years’ experience in accounting practices.
● Proficiency with accounting software, word processing, and spreadsheets.
● It will be a distinct advantage to have worked previously in an Accounting or Tax practice
