Essential Duties and Job Requirements:
- Check in the arriving guest and checks out the departing guests in a friendly and caring manner according to the Rogner Hotel Tirana procedures and standards.
- Registers guest and assigns rooms; use suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services of the hotel.
- Process the guest check out procedures; receive payment from guests; settle the guest accounts.
- Handle all front office cashiers’ transactions such as posting charges to guests and exchanging foreign currency according to the procedures, etc
- Answer all guests’ requests and questions in a friendly and caring manner, provides/receives information and takes appropriate actions or refers the matters to the relevant persons to handle. Handle messages and deal with complaints.
- Keep himself informed of product and service knowledge as well as the hotel daily and meeting activities.
- Possess a working knowledge of the room reservation procedures. Take reservations and cancellations if required.
- Complete command of the Albanian and English language; any other languages (especially German and Italian) are definitely an advantage.
- Computer literate - knowledge of Fidelio software is an advantage
