This position is responsible for the promotion of the sale of goods that can employ pricing, special

offers, display and other techniques designed to influence consumers’ buying decisions.


Merchandisers help optimize sales and profit by ensuring that stores are stocked with the right

products in the right quantities. This may include stocking shelves, arranging and maintaining product

displays, pricing products and monitoring store inventory.

Key Responsibilities:


Monitoring sales and identifying any losses or stock wastage


Working with suppliers, retail stores and other partners throughout the country.


Getting to know the customer base and understanding their motivation and sales drivers.


Reviewing customer feedback to predict sales trends and seasonal stock demand.


Briefing staff on stock display and rotation to ensure every space is optimized.


Researching and monitoring industry trends and consumer behavior to anticipate demand and

changes in buying patterns.


Making predictions based on sales data, customer feedback and market trends


Assessing the effectiveness of different product displays and store layouts on sales figures


Reviewing competitors, including pricing, profit, marketing and other progress


Ensure that stores, shelves or websites are stocked with the right types and quantities of

products.


Display, arrange, price, and rotate products in store.


Maintain store shelves by removing dated or damaged products.


Monitor store inventory based on sales and intake.


Optimize sales volume and profitability by identifying profitable lines and bestsellers.


Make recommendations for promotional strategies using sales and pricing data.


Grow, build, and establish for Albamedia brands a good position within reseller / dealer / VAR channels.


Communicate with Albamedia’sSales and Marketing team for new product Launches and

effectively execute these to key accounts.





The appointed person will be:


Educated to secondary degree level as minimum .Universityor equivalent degree is an advantage.


2+ years of Sales experience is desirable but not compulsory (preferably from the IT industry)


Able to develop business contacts and relationships at all levels of an organization. Self-motivated,

passionate, good relationship builder.


Autonomous, pro-active personality with excellent communication skills Knowledge and understanding

of the market trends.


Fluent in English (written & spoken).


Great communication skills


Driver’s license - active driver. (Ability to travel throughout the Country occasionally)
