We are seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions supporting business analytics in a cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes across cloud platforms.
• Integrate and manage data from multiple sources ensuring accuracy and availability.
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with organizational and GDPR standards.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to deliver clean, structured datasets.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and cost efficiency.
• Align data architecture and operations with technical and business requirements.
• Contribute to the design of data processing algorithms and support procurement activities involving data services.
• Report on project progress, risks, and mitigation actions.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree (EQF Level 6) in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Statistics, or related fields.

Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in data integration and ETL development.
• Strong SQL and database design skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or OVH).
• Programming knowledge in Python, R, SQL, or Java.
• Familiarity with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and data governance practices.

Preferred Certifications:

• AWS Certified Big Data – Specialty
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
• Google Professional Data Engineer
• Cloudera Certified Professional (CCP) Data Engineer
