EPPC Albania on behalf of its client, is currently recruiting a Credit & Debt Controller.

Major responsibilities:
  • Accounts Receivable Management: Manage trade receivables and ensure full adherence to Credit/Cash Policies by reviewing customer credit terms, assessing financial standing, and performing regular ageing analysis with timely follow-up on overdue invoices;
  • Collections Process & Credit Control: Execute the full collection process through systematic debtor follow-up, apply Stop Credit when limits or terms are breached, and escalate credit risks or policy violations to management;
  • Customer Communication & Issue Resolution: Manage customer inquiries and payment communications, coordinate with internal teams on credit note or account issues, and ensure all interactions are accurately recorded and resolved in Navision;
  • Reporting, Documentation & Write-offs: Prepare write-off documentation and daily bank collection records, resolve unallocated balances, and maintain accurate historical and compliance data in Navision;
  • Compliance & Data Protection: Ensure compliant handling of company data, follow security and equipment guidelines, and adhere to credit governance and escalation procedures;
  • Financial Planning & Business Support: Support budgeting and KPI forecasting, provide management with informed financial insights, and collaborate effectively with key business stakeholders;
  • Performance & Operational Delivery: Monitor collection KPIs, ensure timely reporting in a high-volume environment, and adapt quickly to regulatory and business process changes.

Requirements for this position are:
  • University degree in Finance/Accounting;
  • At least 3 years of experience in Finance, Accounting or Administration sector;
  • Good knowledge of Albanian Fiscal Legislation and IFRS;
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and laws;
  • Very good knowledge of Navision (preferable), Excel, MS Office etc.;
  • Able to deal with feedback and to work under pressure;
  • Ability to think precisely and analytically;
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills;
  • Very good knowledge of English.
