EPPC Albania, on behalf of its client, one of the most prestigious and serious in the market, is currently recruiting a Senior Tax Specialist.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Support tax planning and advisory projects across the Group, including transfer pricing, international tax structures, and cross-border transactions;
• Oversee tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring accurate and timely filings;
• Prepare, review, and analyse tax returns, reports, and supporting documentation;
• Contribute to M&A, restructuring, and financing projects from a tax perspective, including due diligence and transaction support;
• Coordinate with external tax advisors and local tax authorities, supporting audits, inspections, and tax disputes while ensuring effective communication and delivery;
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess business impact across the Group;
• Identify tax risks and contribute to mitigation strategies;
• Provide daily support and guidance on tax-related matters to different companies within the Group;
• Maintain transfer pricing documentation and intercompany agreements in line with regulations.

Requirements for this position are:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field;
• Previous experience in tax, with exposure to corporate taxation and compliance (preferred);
• Hands-on experience with corporate tax compliance and preparation/review of tax returns for medium to large companies (preferred);
• Very good knowledge of Albanian tax legislation;
• Understanding of key tax areas (CIT, VAT, WHT) and international tax concepts (e.g., transfer pricing, tax treaties);
• Exposure to multinational clients, group structures, or cross-border transactions is an advantage;
• Analytical skills, attention to details and professional communication skills (written and verbal);
• Proactive mindset, with willingness to learn and take ownership;
• Very good command of English language.
