EPPC Albania on behalf of its client, on behalf of its client operating in the import, sales, and distribution of food and beverage products in Albania and across the Western Balkans, is seeking a Head of Audit & Compliance.
The Head of Audit & Compliance will lead the establishment and management of the Group’s Internal Audit & Compliance function, plan and execute audits of financial statements and other critical business processes, identify risks and control weaknesses, and provide recommendations to strengthen internal controls, enhance operational efficiency, ensure legal compliance, mitigate risks, uphold ethical standards, and advise the CEO and Audit Committee.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Governance: Develop and implement a Group-wide audit & compliance strategy aligned with international best practices
Risk Assessment & Audit Execution: Plan and execute financial statement and operational audits, including risk assessments, scope, and testing procedures; identify and evaluate key risks and control weaknesses, and define annual and multi-year audit plans;
Compliance Oversight: Monitor adherence to laws and regulations across the Group;
Reporting & Transparency: Deliver clear, actionable audit reports and compliance assessments;
Training & Ethical Culture: Design and implement training programs to promote compliance and ethical behavior;
Collaboration & External Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors.

Requirements for this position are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Audit, Finance or Accounting; Certifications such as CIA, CRMA, or CCEP are preferred;
- Proven experience in managing an audit function, with a strong background and hands-on expertise in financial statement audits, in addition to operational audit oversight;
- At least 5-7 years of experience in audit, risk management, or compliance in multinational or regional organizations;
- Strategic thinking and analytical acumen;
- High ethical standards, integrity and confidentiality;
- Fluent in English (other EU languages would be a plus);
- Availability to travel across the region for business purposes as required.
