EPPC Albania, on behalf of its client, Wizz Air, is currently recruiting a Ground Operations Airport Supervisor.
The Ground Operations Supervisor is supporting and supervising all aspects of the safe, cost-effective and punctual running of operations in the region they are assigned to. The Supervisor will oversee the airline daily operations and will report to the Ground Operations Manager in charge of the monitored stations.
Main Responsibilities:
• Ensure that Wizz Air’s operational KPIs are being met by the contracted partners at a given airport, daily reporting to the Ground Operations Manager in charge;
• On-site supervision of all operations areas (passenger handling, ramp handling, load control, etc.);
• Oversee performance of certain flights, assisting in reaching the desired quality of handling;
• Prepare reports on the station’s performance in key areas;
• Conduct inspections and daily checks on airports in the assigned Region;
• Give assistance to the Ground Operations Manager in charge airports in the assigned Region;
• General administration and reporting duties;
• Ensure GH staff is in place and control their compliance with procedures;
• Ensure information correctly displayed on information screens;
• Support GH and passengers with information about the reason for disruption;
• Support passengers with guidance about the physical location where the due welfare services are arranged by GH;
• Verify pax letters handed out, and meal vouchers correctly distributed by GH/DCC;
• Support passengers with information how to use the meal vouchers, and how to receive rebooking service on site and online, as well as hotel service and where they find transport to hotel;
• Take lead on communication between GH and airline in special situations (no available hotels, alternate flights, etc);
• Any other task assigned by the Head of Ground Operations or the supervisor Ground Operations Manager of the position.
Requirements for this position are:
• Ability to work non-standard business hours, as per the business requirements;
• Ability to conduct duty travels abroad;
• Fluency in English;
• Excellent communication and organization skills;
• Creative and proactive personality with “can do” approach;
• Computer skills – M. Excel, M. PowerPoint;
• Flexible approach and ability to remain diplomatic;
• Aviation experience is an advantage;
• Energetic, able to adapt and deliver high quality performance in very dynamic work environment;
• Knowledge of Newskies, AIMS and SITA systems is an advantage.
