EPPC Albania on behalf of its client, one of the most prestigious and serious in the market, is currently recruiting a Digital Transformation Technology Risk Auditor.

Provide assurance over digital transformation initiatives, system implementations, and technology-driven business changes by assessing governance, risks, controls, and value realization across the Group.

Major responsibilities:
  • Audit Execution & Fieldwork: Execute risk-based audits for digital transformation projects, systems, and automated processes in line with Internal Audit methodology and standards;
  • Governance & Control Framework Assessment: Assess governance frameworks for digital initiatives, including project oversight, change and release management, and third-party/vendor controls, ensuring alignment between business strategy and digital roadmaps;
  • Requirements Quality & Design Effectiveness: Assess the quality and traceability of business and functional requirements, and evaluate whether process and system design effectively address business needs, risks, controls, and end-to-end impacts;
  • Post-Implementation Feasibility & Value Realization: Assess operational and financial viability of implemented digital solutions, evaluate benefit realization, and identify gaps between expected and achieved outcomes;
  • Risk Management, Controls & Compliance: Identify and assess digital, operational, data, cybersecurity, and regulatory risks, and evaluate the effectiveness of embedded controls in digital processes;
  • Reporting & Collaboration: Prepare and present audit reports with clear findings and recommendations, support remediation actions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements for this position are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field;
  • CIA / CISA (or commitment to pursue) and IT audit or project-related certifications are advantageous;
  • At least 5 years of experience in audit, risk, or process improvement roles;
  • Experience with business process reviews, digital transformation initiatives, or system implementations preferred;
  • Agile, project management certifications, or basic IT audit training – desirable
  • Strong analytical and risk assessment skills with high attention to detail;
  • Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks, controls, and compliance;
  • Knowledge of digital transformation lifecycle and business–IT integration;
  • Ability to assess requirements quality and post-implementation effectiveness;
  • Clear and professional communication with stakeholders;
  • Process improvement mindset and cross-functional collaboration skills;
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and independence of judgment.
