Datacom Deployment Specialist

Purpose of Position: Follows closely with infrastructure and service deployments teams, ensuring optimization and high availability of the network.

Main Tasks:

• New devices installation, configuration and maintenance.
• Participate in maintenance windows in order to trouble shoot and solve network problems and malfunctioning.
• Document as per change management form and planned activity form for all the changes made in the network.
• Procedures creation and implementation.
• Collaboration and reporting to L2-L3 support vendors.
• Customer contact and support in case of non-resolved trouble ticket.
• Trouble shooting in customer premises if needed and required.
• Participating in common projects with other units in order to fulfill network optimizations required by our company.
• Incident reporting and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge sharing with the new hires staff and other needs on the department or company.

Education: University degree in Telecommunication/Computer Science/Computer Engineering.
Experience: At least 2 years of previous experience in data communication networks.

Skills:

• Good knowledge of English;
• CCNA Routing & Switching (CCNP is preferred);
• Advanced level of MS Office applications;
• Very good communication skills;
• Available to work over time if necessary.
