Responsibilities
As a Senior Tax Accountant, your main responsibilities will be:
- Manage the provision, production and review of tax services to a challenging and varied client portfolio of companies including international clients;
- Researching and resolving technical queries from clients;
- Building, maintaining and enhancing strong relationships with clients and providing a high standard of client service;
- Advising on Albanian domestic and international tax matters;
- Coordinating and working with international associate firms on cross-border projects and business development initiatives;
- Acting as a point of contact to the regional tax directory issues;
- Contributing to the development of technical knowledge of the office;
- Provide mentoring to other team members to ensure standards are maintained throughout the entire engagement process;
- Identifying client needs and new business opportunities within client organizations;
- Maintain a high quality of work and consistently adhere to relevant professional standards.
- University degree, preferred average score 8+;
- At least 5 years prior relevant experience in tax compliance and financial statement preparation is required;
- Very good knowledge of Albanian fiscal legislation;
- Excellent command of English, Italian is considered a plus;
- Excellent PC skills;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Ability to work in a team.
