Job Position: Project Management Sr. Specialist
Department: Transformation
Location: Tirana

The Project Management Sr. Specialist is responsible for managing the planning, execution, and monitoring of Digital Related Projects and Initiatives within Balfin Group. The Project Management Sr. Specialist ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the priority as defined by leadership and contractual agreements.

Objectives of a Project Management Sr. Specialist

  • Strategic Management: Developing and implementing project management strategies and priorities that align with the Digital Transformation Department’s and Balfin Group’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Project Success: Ensures that the project is completed successfully within the defined scope, timeline, budget, and quality requirements. This includes managing risks, resolving issues, and ensuring that project deliverables are as per contractual terms and leadership expectations.
  • Budget Management: Managing project budgets and ensuring that projects are completed within budget constraints. This involves forecasting project costs, monitoring expenses, and identifying opportunities to optimize resource utilization and reduce costs.
  • Risk Management: Identifying and managing project risks, including developing risk management plans, monitoring risks, and implementing strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring that project deliverables meet or exceed the required quality standards. This involves developing quality control processes, monitoring quality, and implementing corrective actions as necessary according to Balfin Group standards.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improving project management processes and methodologies. This involves identifying areas for improvement, implementing best practices, and identifying new technologies to optimize project performance and efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Management: Managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring that stakeholders are satisfied with project outcomes. This involves building strong relationships with stakeholders, managing expectations, and addressing concerns or issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
Main Responsibilities
  • Managing digital transformation related projects from initiation to closure. This involves working closely with software developers, quality assurance analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards as set forth by leadership.
  • Managing vendor relationships, negotiating contract’s technicality, and ensuring that vendors deliver on their contractual commitments.
  • Develop project’s Lesson learns, Risk registers, respective Mitigation Plan on project level.
  • Managing a portfolio of projects which involves prioritizing and ensuring that project portfolios are aligned with Balfin Group’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain processes and procedure for Digital Project Management related projects. Staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends and incorporating them into project management processes and methodologies.
  • Developing and maintaining an up-to-date portfolio of prospect partners that could be potentially utilized on Group or company level according to Balfin Group’s overall goals and objectives.
Competencies and Requirements
  • Possession of a master’s degree, in the fields of project management or computer science.
  • Min 5 years’ experience in a similar role managing a wide range of different projects.
  • Understand core business processes and associated technical solutions.
  • Proven track of working in managing cross functional or group level projects.
  • Prior experience or know-how in retail & real estate industry processes, as well as real estate & retail digital project implementations is a plus.
