Job position: Mechanical Maintenance Support Technician

Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Support Technician to join our Maintenance team in KFC and PIZZA HUT ALBANIA, in providing support for the mechanical systems of our Quick Service Restaurants. The Mechanical Maintenance Support Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment and systems in our business units. This role requires a strong focus on mechanical maintenance and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of mechanical equipment, including HVAC systems, refrigeration units, exhaust fans, and kitchen appliances.
• Troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions and identify the root causes of issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Repair or replace faulty mechanical components, such as motors, belts, valves, and pumps, to restore functionality.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance team to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules, ensuring the timely completion of tasks.
• Respond promptly to mechanical emergencies and breakdowns, minimizing downtime and disruptions to restaurant operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment status.
• Control the inventory of equipment and spare parts in the warehouse.
• Collaborate with the maintenance Manager to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements in mechanical systems.
• Assist in maintaining an inventory of mechanical equipment, spare parts, and supplies.
• Adhere to safety regulations and ensure compliance with maintenance standards.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Percentage of scheduled preventive maintenance tasks completed on time.
• Average response time to mechanical emergencies or breakdowns.
• Percentage reduction in equipment downtime due to mechanical issues.
• Number of successful mechanical repairs and resolutions within specified timeframes.
• Compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards during repair and maintenance activities.

• Energy consumption reduction achieved through energy-efficient practices in mechanical systems.
• Accuracy and completeness of maintenance records and documentation.
• Effective coordination and collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
• Inventory accuracy and availability of mechanical equipment and spare parts.
• Customer satisfaction ratings.

Requirements & Skills needed:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Support Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting mechanical issues.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as needed.
• Valid driver's license.
• English language knowledge, understanding and communication.
