Job Title: Head of Stock Management
Department: Supply Chain & Logistics
Reports to: Director of Logistics & Stock Management
Location: Tiranë.
Role Summary: The Head of Stock Management is responsible for overseeing all inventory-related activities, ensuring optimal stock levels, accurate records, and efficient stock movement across warehouses and stores. This role plays a key part in supporting sales, reducing stock losses, and optimizing working capital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement stock management strategies to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Oversee stock control systems and processes across all locations.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure alignment with sales and demand forecasts.
- Lead regular inventory audits and cycle counts; investigate discrepancies.
- Work closely with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to align stock levels.
- Set and monitor KPIs (e.g., stock turnover, shrinkage rate, accuracy).
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Manage a team of stock controllers, supervisors, and inventory analysts.
- Implement systems for tracking stock movements (e.g., ERP, WMS).
- Provide detailed stock reports and analysis to management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in inventory or warehouse management; leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Additional skills:
• To be a motivated and ambitious person;
• To have the sense of trade and be oriented;
• Have high negotiation skills;
• Be able to work under pressure;
• Know how to make decisions and be responsible.
